Poem 1
I met a charming creature the other day
We met on a walk and I just had to say
How peculiar looking the little guy was
He laughed out loud just because
He knew what comical creature he cut
You see he delights in tesing people in their own little rut
I became rather offended when he expalined this to me
But he convinced me otherwise, and I began to see
That my company was treasure compared to them
I was so flattered I diddn't notice the bear in his den
When I did I began to scream
I didn't calm down until he bought be ice cream
It was then he revealed he wasn't human at all
But rather a mouse, all tiny and small
It was then I concocted my newest plan
To never go out walking again
I was feeling moralistic, so I wrote this.
Poem 2
I once knew a girrafe named Jackie Magee
She told me she was settin' off to free
Some rainbow ponies in the plains
I went with her so she would get home again
Well we travled through in a brisk, fast pace
Only stopped jus' once to tie a shoe lace
We walked for hours, and hours
Sweatin' so much we needed 'leat four showers
But finally we saw a sign to see
It was a-hangin from a lone oak tree
It said in a bright red hue
'If you think rainbow ponies are real, you're crazy too'
Well Jackie Magee became rather distressed
I hd to admit her confidence then didn't really impess
And she said to me, in a voice so sad
'It firgues I was wrong, but now I'm glad
Past mistakes will make you smarter in the future'
And I wrote some lyrics. I will tortue you with them now. I know the first verse is whack and isn't the same ryhming pattern with the others.
